Cuba Again

This morning I head back to Cuba for what will be another week of necessary life experiences and fantastic photography. Despite several trips here in the past two years I am still excited to see and feel so much. I am also more determined than ever to create images that capture the essence of what makes this place so special. Time stood still for Cuba in 1959 and many of the scenes often feel like an old movie set instead of real life; their life. The conditions, colors, tones, and people present creative possibilities here that are endless. I believe they will always exist despite the unavoidable changes the future is sure to bring. Cuba, and its’ people, really is like no other place, but time will move forward and so will this warm, friendly island nation. I will always be happy I came.
