"Photograph What You Feel"
"I am not trying to take a picture of something. I am trying to create an image of how I feel about something. "
This simple mantra is the thesis and driving force behind all that I do as a photographer and as a photography coach.
I am a self taught photographer who has been professionally and happily photographing a wide variety of subjects for the past 25 years. I love to teach and help others to do so as well. As the Director of Photo Adventures for Hunt's Photo and Video in Massachusetts since 2017, I lead numerous instructional photo walks in the greater Boston and New England area as well as a wide variety of photography workshops locally, nationally, and internationally. I am deeply committed to sharing the unique beauty of the world through the power of photography, my own creative imagery, and my humble attempts at writing. I truly love my work which, honestly, feels less like a job and much more like a calling and a privilege. What I do as a photographer and photography instructor will always be a wonderful, enriching labor of love. Thank you to all who have helped and supported me along the way.
